CONFIDENCE AND COMPETITION
She won her first world title at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar. She gave part of the credit to her Cuban international teammate Denia Caballero, who won gold in discus throw at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, People's Republic of China. "I've been looking for a good result for years, but I had some difficulties from a psychological point of view, problems with immaturity. I have worked to end all of that and the group that accompanies me has helped. I think winning competitions and having stability in the throws has given me more confidence. Plus, Denia has pushed me.
