PROFESSIONAL LIFESTYLE
Her life has been one of sacrifice as she seeks to maintain a strict lifestyle as an athlete. "My life is not that simple. I lived an adolescence of rules and rationality. I have never gone on a school trip, I have never taken a vacation with friends and pre-COVID, I never allowed myself to have crazy evenings with friends. My body is my work tool, so I cannot indulge myself in leisure activities such as skiing, extreme sports, or straying too far from the nutritional patterns. Being an athlete means having to come to terms with the part of the girl who looks in the mirror and you have to accept it. My body must have a certain type of musculature and this has not always been easy to accept." (adnkronos.com, 24 May 2021)

In 2017 she began working with therapist Francesca Esposito, and she also has sessions with mental coach Claudio Petrucci. "My therapist helps me to face the obstacles of life through studies and insights into philosophy. In this way I have the right tools for me, to adapt to all the moments of my journey.
