She was initially selected as a reserve for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo when the team was announced in February 2020 but secured her spot in September 2020 after Rose Stackpole decided to retire. "This is a dream come true, I've wanted this for so long. In 2012 I had just started competing and I was so excited to see the Olympic team in person in their lead-up and watching them compete at the London Olympics.
