She was called into the Italy team for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo two weeks before the start of the Games, after Italian gymnast Giorgia Villa was ruled out with an ankle injury. Compatriot Vanessa Ferrari moved to the team competition and Mori took the individual spot. "I want to say that this was not the way I wanted to be chosen, I am very sorry for Villa.
