OLYMPIC MOTIVATION
She is making her second Olympic appearance at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. She competed in the women's individual event at the Olympic Games for the first time in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, where she was knocked out in the round of 16. "It's amazing to make my second Olympic team, with all the unknowns of postponements over the last year. It was difficult not to get overwhelmed and bogged down, but focus on what was within my control and use the extra time to improve and come out stronger for it. I always had a feeling of unfinished business after the Rio Olympics. Heading into Tokyo I want to be able to pull out all the stops and perform to the best of my abilities, leave everything out there on the field." (olympics.com.au, 01 Jul 2021)
