Partner Koen Verweij (Speed skating): Two-time Dutch Olympian, winning gold and silver at Sochi 2014 and two bronze medals at PyeongChang 2018. Three-time team pursuit world champion and Allround champion in 2014. Co-founded Team Worldstream, the commercial team that Leerdam also skates in.
2016 International Race in Inzell (500m - 13th, 1000m - 6th, 1500m - 16th)
2018 World Cup in Obihiro (500 m - 11th, 1000m - 10th)
January 2021: Bruised foot forced her to withdraw from the final World Cup in Heerenveen. Returned for World Championships in February.
February 2019: Groin injury forced her to withdraw from the World Cup in Hamar. Returned for the World Singles Distance Championships in Inzell.

Encouraged by her father, who enjoyed skating when young. At that time, she had been playing field hockey. Her father Ruud said, "She combined hockey and skating for about a year. Quite regularly I picked her up from the rink and she had to dress for hockey in the car. Eventually, the regional skating federation asked her to choose between the two." (ad.nl, 17 Jan 2020)
