Brother Kwinten Tas (Inline speed skating): European road relay champion in 2009, with two more minor medals. Belgium national team coach, guiding Sandrine for most of her career.

Brother Siemen Tas (Inline speed skating): Competed at the European Championships.

Inline speed skating: Dual world champion in 2015 (1000m track, marathon road), winning a silver and four bronze medals in 2017 and 2019. Won six medals at the 2017 World Games, including 1000m track gold. European champion 18 times from 2016-19.

Cycling: Finished 40th at the 2021 National Championships.
