Winning the 500m at the 2021 World Championships in Heerenveen, his first world title. "Just being able to accomplish one of my career goals was the best feeling of my skating career so far.” (calgary.ctvnews.ca, 17 Feb 2021)
His parents, Olympic speed skaters Robert Dubreuil (CAN) and Ariane Loignon (CAN). "My parents are very important to me. They were some of my models growing up. In 2014 I missed the Olympics by 0.04 seconds, I had to go back to the drawing board and re-evaluate myself. I could not have done that without my parents. They were very supportive of me and I went from missing the Olympics to being third at the World Championships the year after. I changed a lot of things and improve a lot because of their advice." (Skating ISU YouTube, 20 Mar 2021)
Coach, Gregor Jelonek (CAN). "He has taught me how to harness my passion for speed skating and use its energy to go faster. I had always been a passionate person, but he showed me how to use that form of energy." (canadianathletesnow.ca)
