Partner Valerie Maltais (Short track, Speed skating): Three-time Canadian short track Olympian (2010-18), winning relay silver at Sochi 2014. Twelve World Short Track Championship medals, including 3000m gold in 2012 (Shanghai). World Speed Skating Championship bronze medallist in the 2020 team pursuit.
Inline speed skating: Bronze medallist at the 2015 Pan American Games in the 10000m points race (road). Two World Junior Championship appearances (2004-05).
Marathon speed skating: National-level skater, winning several races in 2014.
2008 World Cup in Berlin (5000m B - 11th)
July 2014: Fractured patella (knee) after a short track accident, missing two months.
June 2013: Concussion after a cycling accident, but was able to recover in time for the Canadian Olympic Trials later that year.
2008
Initially an ice hockey player, he started inline speed skating to improve his speed. His progress landed him in the national junior team until in 2005 he was he was recruited to the ice through the "Own the Podium" program set up for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
