ALMOST QUIT
Having long combined speed skating and inline speed skating, Kania intended to skate the 2020 national championships and then retire. But things went differently: "I achieved quite good results and Konrad Niedzwiedzki noticed it. He offered me a training camp with the sprint team. I took advantage of this and trained with them. Milestones

At the 2021 Stavanger World Cup, became the first Pole to win a medal in a men's event since Artur Was (2017) after he won bronze in the 500m.

His bronze 500m medal at the 2021 Stavanger World Cup was the first by a Polish man since Artur Was in 2017.
