Ice hockey: Represented Czech Republic in a U18 international fixture. Played with HC Slavia Praha as a junior. Received a foreign scholarship offer before switching to speed skating.
Cycling: Competed at the 2014 World Road Championships as a junior. Finished fifth in the time trial at the 2015 National Championships. Began competing in Czech national events again in 2021.

Began speed skating in 2011 after Czech national team coach Petr Novak (CZE) asked her to come to a speed skating training camp in Collalbo, Italy. (isu.org)
In 2010, her mother had emailed national coach Petr Novak (CZE) that her daughter would like to try out speed skating. Within six months of starting, she qualified to compete at the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Games. (denik.cz, 2012)
