Brother Hakon Lorentzen (Football): Represented Norway from U15-U19. Plays professionally in Norway's OBOS-ligaen (second-tier) with Asane, after limited play with Sandefjord in the Eliteserien. Partner Hege Bokko (Speed skating): Three-time Norwegian Olympian (2010-18), with two top-10 finishes. Five-time silver medallist at the World Junior Championships and 16-time national champion. Her brother Havard won Olympic gold in the team pursuit (2018).
Cycling: Norwegian junior road champion. Competed at the National Time Trial Championships in 2014, finishing 68th.

2020: Contracted COVID-19, missing three weeks of training.
2020: Hip injury affected his season performances.
2017: Broken wrist after falling off a bicycle.
2015: Severe cut to his calf from a skate after a fall, requiring a skin graft. Unable to walk for six weeks, returning to the ice after four months.
