Milestones

Finished fourth in halfpipe at her Olympic Winter Games debut at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, and was ninth at Sochi 2014. In her third Olympic appearance at PyeongChang 2018, she became the first Chinese snowboarder to win an Olympic medal (silver behind USA's Chloe Kim). Athletes from either the People's Republic of China or the United States of America occupied the first five positions in the PyeongChang halfpipe.

2009 World halfpipe champion, 2011 bronze medallist. Became the first, and youngest, Chinese snowboarder to win a world championship event (2009) at age 16 years and 128 days. At the time this made her the youngest female snowboarder from any nation to win a World Championship title until Japan's Miyabi Onitsuka beat her by winning gold in slopestyle at age 16 years and 101 days in 2015.

Has 11 wins and 23 podiums in 43 World Cup starts (as of 2020/21), her last victory coming in December 2019 at Secret Garden (also won there in 2017). Became the first Chinese snowboarder to win a World Cup snowboard event when she won in 2008 in Sungwoo, Republic of Korea, at age 15 years and 152 days, which also made her the youngest female snowboarder from any nation to win a World Cup snowboard event.

2009 halfpipe Crystal Globe winner.

2017 Asian Winter Games halfpipe champion, and 2007 bronze medallist.
