General Interest

PREGNANCY AND LATE COMEBACK
Sat out the 2020/21 season because she was pregnant - her last competition was in March 2020. After her first son was born in January 2021, she came back at the start of 2021/22 season and managed to make the Slovenian Olympic team qualifying for her fourth Olympic Winter Games. "After a long absence, I managed to rank among the 32 best "boarders" in the world in five races out of 15 that were considered Olympic qualifiers. I'm really proud of that - especially because of how I did it. I am a mother and a child comes first, so it has happened many times that my plans have changed or collapsed in an instant...My family means everything to me and nothing else matters if my success does not make them as happy as in me. I learned that improvisation and flexibility are key in motherhood." (Instagram, 25 Jan 2022)
