Uncle's mother Joyce Brockhoff (Alpine Skiing): One of Australia's pioneering female skiers and a founding member of the Australian Women's Ski Club in Victoria in the 1920s.
Uncle Peter Brockhoff (Alpine Skiing): Competed in 1960 and 1964 OWG.
2009 in Nor-Am Cup in Steamboat (parallel slalom - 8th)
2010 in World Cup in Telluride (snowboard cross - 36th)
December 2017: Ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee in a training crash in Val Thorens, France. Underwent surgery shortly after in Melbourne in order to compete at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games without an ACL. Missed the whole 2018/2019 season in order to recover after a full reconstruction.
March 2017: While preparing for the World Championships in Spain, she crashed and tore her ACL, ending her season and costing her the world number 1 ranking. However, even after missing the World Championships and final World Cup event, she still ended the season ranked third overall.
Early 2013: Suffered a minor concussion during the last World Cup race of the 2012/13 season. She pulled out of the event in order to avoid the risk of further injury.

She began skiing at age three, and took up snowboarding at age 10 in Mount Buller, VIC. (bellebrockhoff.com, 22 Mar 2013)
Coming from a famous skiing family in Australia, it was natural for her to get into skiing and snow sports. She competed in a range of snowboard disciplines, including parallel giant slalom on the World Cup circuit, before settling on snowboard cross as her preferred discipline. (Info 2018)
