February 2021: Concussion while training in Laax, Switzerland.
December 2019: Broke left ankle during World Cup in Secret Garden, China, still finishing seventh. After an operation, her rehabilitation coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic.
2016: Broke both wrists (while training at the gym, not catching big air on the halfpipe), six weeks before the 2016 Canadian Championships. She required surgery on both wrists and a metal plate and a few bolts were needed to fix the damage. Was still able to compete and won gold in slopestyle at the event. "I was doing resistance training with a bungee cord, and I thought it would be funny if my friends dragged me as far as the cord could go." 2016
Started snowboarding at age six at her house's entrance which has a slight incline, so she put on her winter clothes, and walked up with her brothers' snowboard in hand and rode down. Win a medal at the Olympic Winter Games, and the Crystal Globe. During the podium ceremony for the medal winners of the halfpipe at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, she turned to her coaches Catherine Parent and Brian Smith and said, “I want this.
