Started skiing at an early age and switched to snowboarding at age five. Went to Winsport at Calgary Olympic Park, which is 10 minutes from her house. "The pipe is cut daily, it’s open 7 days a week 10am - 9pm under the lights. What more could you ask for?" (canadasnowboard.ca)

Was team manager for one of her first board sponsors and before the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, she took time out of her training to mentor her and help her halfpipe riding.
