Underwent prolotherapy treatments to stabilize her sacroiliac joint and pelvic region after struggling with an overstretched/sprained ligament for a couple of years. (olympic.ca)

Started skiing at an early age. Under the impression that skiers couldn’t hit the park features, she asked her mom for snowboard lessons, at age nine she was trying it out for the first time. Started competing provincially at age 12. Wasn’t aware of her talent until she left Fort McMurray and started taking on bigger slopes. (canadasnowboard.ca; mymcmurray.com, 11 Jan 2018)

Lived on an acreage that was close to the local ski hill, giving her something to do on the weekends. At 15, she moved to Calgary to be closer to the mountains. OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Made her Olympic Winter Games debut in slopestyle and big air at PyeongChang 2018.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Has seven starts at five World Championships (2013-21), with two top-10 slopestyle finishes, in 2017 (seventh) and 2019 (eighth).

Finished 10th in slopestyle in her only Junior World Championships race in 2012 (Sierra Nevada).

WORLD CUP
In 40 World Cup starts, she has nine podiums (no victories to date), the latest on the January 2020 slopestyle (Seiseralm).

In 2010 at 16 years of age, she grabbed silver in her World Cup debut, slopestyle on home soil in Calgary. Repeated this exploit in 2011 in Calgary, and 2012 in Stoneham.

Breakthrough event was finishing third at the 2016 World Cup at Boston's Fenway Park, home to the Red Sox of Major League Baseball.
