2019 World Cup in Spindleruv Mlyn (Slopestyle - 9th)
21 August 2019: Tore anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Had reconstruction surgery and the planned nine-month rehab and time off of snow was extended to 13 months due to the COVID-19 shutdown of mountains and resorts in Canada. "This was a really hard time for me, mainly mentally because I have never had so much time away from snowboarding. But after working hard throughout my rehab and taking a longer time to get back on snow, my knee is back feeling strong and good as ever." (Athlete, May 2021)
May 2019
Started snowboarding at age three with her parents at Beaver Valley Ski Club in Ontario, Canada. Started competing at smaller competitions around 14 years old. (Athlete, May 2021)
Loves the adrenaline with park riding, getting air time, and trying to slide around on other features. "Getting a new trick or just having a fun day boarding is the most satisfying feeling I've ever had and nothing compares to it. The park rider community is filled with fun-loving super chill people and I have met most of my good friends through snowboarding." (Athlete, May 2021)
Compete at Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and at X Games. "I want to be a role model for younger girls and help promote women in snowboarding. I also want to take part in the spiking progression going on in women's slopestyle and big air." (Athlete, May 2021)
