First learned to ski at age two with her parents as her instructors at Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs, Michigan, USA. At age five her father turned her on to snowboarding when he bought a snow making gun, a rail and a box, added some jumps and created a mini park in their backyard. At age 10, Zoe began competing in the USASA Middle Earth series in slopestyle, boardercross and halfpipe. In 2015 decided to focus solely on riding halfpipe. (usskiandsnowboard.org, 2017)
Loves the creativity and freedom snowboarding gives her. "Whenever I am boarding, nothing else matters. Snowboarding lets you put your own style and twist on your riding... I love escaping to the mountain and riding my snowboard however I want." (rojoouterwear.co.au, 11 Oct 2020)
Olympic halfpipe champions Hannah Teter (USA) and Torah Bright (AUS), Olympic slopestyle two-time champion Jamie Anderson (USA). (zoekalapos.com, 29 Sep 2020)
