General Interest

COVID-19
Preparation this season took on a different shape than years past. Without access to the same tools and resources she normally has in prior seasons, she has been forced to become her own strength coach and hold herself accountable. "In order to succeed, I must persevere, accommodate, and adapt. My goals remain the same, however, the path to achieve those goals looks much different. It’s not just about the outcome or endgame - it’s about how you get there, including having the flexibility to change and course-correct as needed to get where you want to go." OTHER ACTIVITIES
Has worked as a sports envoy for the U.S. State Department, travelling to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to teach snowboarding to orphans. Has also worked for Kids Play International, a charity set up by USA freestyle skier Tracy Evans to promote gender equality in countries recovering from genocides. In 2017, she travelled to Rwanda with other USA Olympians and players from the National Football League (NFL) to teach young people about gender and sport. (Info 2018)
