Brother Ayumu Hirano (Snowboard, Skateboard). Snowboard: Double Olympic silver medallist in halfpipe (2014, 2018). Skateboard: Competed at skateboarding park at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Brother Eiju Hirano (Snowboard - halfpipe): Competed at two Junior World Championships (2010, 2011), and is a national championships silver medallist (2011). Retired in 2017.

First started skateboarding with his brothers at an early age, then started snowboarding very late as older brother Ayumu was already competing in international events, so did not have the chance to train or discuss snowboarding with him.
