PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games parallel giant slalom silver medallist. First and only Korean snowboarder to win an Olympic medal .

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
At five consecutive World Championships (2013-21), his top results are a pair of fifth-place finishes in 2017 (parallel giant slalom) and 2021 (parallel slalom).

Three-time Junior World Championships medallist winning one gold (2015 parallel giant slalom), one silver (2014 parallel giant slalom), and one bronze (2015 parallel slalom).

First Korean snowboarder to win a World Cup event, a PGS in Bannoye on 11 Dec 2021.
