Started snowboarding at age 10, when her family moved to Ufa, where she attended a sports school. "Came to my first training session in April, at the end of the season. I did not know how to use the drag lift, I had to climb a rather steep 300-metre mountain on foot. Climbing along the track, afraid to fall or drop the snowboard.
