November 2019: Shoulder surgery after falling on her left shoulder during training in October. Her shoulder was already unstable after an old injury and dropped. (Instagram, 21 Nov 2019). She came back to the competition for the 2020/21 season.
April 2018: Fracture of two vertebra and two cervicals after falling during the snowboard cross French national championships in Peyragudes, her last season's competition. (Instagram, 3 Apr 2018). "I wore a medical corset night and day for three months and a half. I risked to become tetraplegic." Returned to training in October 2019 with the help of her family and friends, and a mental coach. She began skiing at age two and switched to snowboarding at age eight in her hometown Samoens. ("Let's Go Girls!" podcast series on spotify.com, 16 May 2021)
Her mother also competed in snowboard and freestyle events, her older brother practised snowboarding and she asked her mother: "Why is he doing snowboard and me only skiing? I am sick of slalom skiing. Snowboarding is much more fun." (celles-qui-osent.com, 3 Feb 2021)
