Started skiing at age four in Winsport, Calgary with her mum, then switched to snowboarding at age nine and has been competing since age 11. (nemzetisport.hu, Jan 17 2022)
She has always enjoyed halfpipe, "It's extremely important in today's snowboarding. For example, it helps with the new features that are now entering slopestyle courses, like shark fins and quarter pipe walls. However, my discipline I focus on is slopestyle and big air." (Athlete, 19 Jan 2022)
