General Interest

COVID-19 AND DIFFERENT MINDSET
"For me, it (the Covid19 situation) changed a lot in my mind, there are a lot of things to think about even if we cannot control them but still they are in your mind. Now we have a calendar that changes very often so it’s very difficult to make a plan for the season and also I just learnt this year to be very flexible in my mindset, not to focus on goals, they are too far away. Everything you plan is going to change and for me, at the beginning, it was hard because I like plans and I like knowing what I have to do, so I really needed to fix that in my mind and be fine with that also, knowing just some days I’m here, and next day I don’t know." (Snowbeat TV magazine, Dec 2020)

CARDIAC SURGERY
"I had a little surgery at my heart because I had started having very fast heartbeats in training, I had them last year in races too, from one moment to the other my heart got to 200-230 heartbeats and it was a little scary. So I made all the controls and we decided to undergo surgery to fix this problem and now it’s very much different. I don’t have to think about this issue anymore, because before it also got in me every time I trained or when I was in a race I had these thoughts that maybe my heart would start to do these extra beats. I'm so much calmer now and I know everything's fine and I can concentrate more on what I should do and of course, having my mind free of these bad thoughts is for sure a very good thing." (Snowbeat TV magazine, Dec 2020)
