General Interest

ONE-MAN TEAM
He has never been supported by the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI). "They've never backed me because there hasn't been an Italian halfpipe team since almost 10 years now. I've always travelled alone, paying for trips and competition fees thanks to my sponsors and organising the trips by myself. I sometimes joined other teams to split the bills and train all together, and they've always been super kind to me, like the Fins or the Slovenians. It only worked because we snowboarders are such a big family. I've been around for an entire season with my friend Seamus O'Connor (IRL), who doesn't have a halfpipe team nor teammates as well. It's been hard, but I'm proud I've always done everything by myself." (Snowbeat TV Show, 15 Dec 2017)
