Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Competed in the normal (49th) and large hill (51st) at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and was 14th at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games (normal hill).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
At two World Championships (2019, 2021), he has three top-15 finishes, all in team events.

In his fourth appearance at the Junior World Championships (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019), he won the individual normal hill bronze medal in 2019 in Lahti, just 3.2 points from the silver medal. It is the first time in the history of independent Kazakhstan, they have won a ski jumping Junior World Championships medal. (astanatimes.com, 31 Jan 2019)

WORLD CUP
Top individual World Cup finish of 24th in 2019 in Engelberg (large hill), and an eighth place with the team (2022 Bischofshofen).

SEASON 2021/22
Competed in all eight stops of the Summer Grand Prix 2021, finishing 28th overall with a sixth in Schuchinsk (normal hill) as his best result. In the winter season he struggled to qualify for the main World Cup event several times, in Klingenthal however, he did qualify and eventually missed the advance to the final round by one rank, finishing 31st.

OTHER
Two-time Asian Winter Games medallist in Sapporo winning team silver and individual bronze (normal hill).
