Father Magnus Westman (Ski jumping): Two-time Olympian competing at Albertville 1992 and Lillehammer 1994. On World Cup tour (1990-92), his best result was 16th in 1991 in Lahti (large hill).

2017: Torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and menisci in both knees. After surgeries it took her all of 2018 and 2019 to recover, made her comeback in 2020. After doubts whether she wanted to continue her career she said: "I was so young, I had so much more to give." (tellerreport.com)

Her father was a ski jumper so she joined him on the jumping hills. At the age of six, she decided that she wanted to pursue the same career. With her 13th place in the World Cup in Lillehammer in 2021, she already outscored her father, whose best World Cup result was 16th. (tellerreport.com)
