December 2021: minor injury to her left knee

Spring 2020: stress fracture in her left shin which led to her taking off the whole summer 2020 to let the bone heal, when she was ready to go back to training and competing full time, the pandemic hit and most of the competitions were cancelled.

January 2019: tore anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), lateral collateral ligament (LCL) and meniscus in her right knee, followed by a full year of rehab.

Was scouted in a kids camp when she was six years old. Tried several sports and was told that she has a talent for ski jumping. (Athlete, Jul 2021)

Spends as much as eight months on the road, so the Canadian women's team has a house and their own car in Adergas (SLO), near Kranj. With the closure of the jumps in Calgary (a legacy from the Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games) and the limited window that (jumps in) Whistler can be open, they had no choice but to go live and train in Slovenia. "And it has really raised the bar on our daily training environment. It has worked out well, but it’s a long time for athletes to be away,” Ski Jumping Canada president Todd Stretch.
