OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Individual bronze medal in the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Winter Games.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
A member of the bronze medal-winning team in 2019 and with five top-seven results at two World Championships (2019, 2021), and no podium finishes.

Has two top-six results in Ski Flying Championships 2020.

Competed at three Junior World Championships (2012, 2013, 2015) with four top-10 results, the best of which is a fourth place in 2015.

WORLD CUP
In four seasons in the World Cup, he finished fourth or fifth 15 times with the team and six times in individual events. Nine times he made it to the podium (six team, three individual). First individual World Cup win in Nizhny Tagil in December 2019, coming from behind in the large hill event in earning 251.6 points to finish 1.5 ahead of Germany’s Karl Geiger. His second career individual World Cup came in his hometown of Sapporo in 2020 when he landed a strong second jump at Okurayama Hill having been sixth after the first round of jumps, and landed a 138.5m second jump that earned him 127.3 points for a total of 244.3.

SEASON 2021/22
Competed in the last two legs of the Summer Grand Prix and won the normal hill event in Hinzenbach. Finished overall 15th with only two participations.
In winter he finished top-10 seven times, his best result a fourth place in Bischofshofen (large hill).
In the four team competitions of the season (one of them was mixed team), he finished fifth two times, on the podium two times, third place in Zakopane and second in Bischofshofen.
Currently ranked 14th in the overall World Cup.

OTHER
Two-time Asian Winter Games champion in 2017 (normal hill, team).
