Ski jumper Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT), four-time Olympic medallist (team gold and two individual bronze in 2010, team silver in 2014), 10-time world champion (two individual, eight times with the team), record of 53 individual World Cup wins, two-time overall World Cup winner, two-time Four Hills Tournament champion. Won first World Cup in 2006 at the age of 16 in Lillehammer, which is also where he won his last World Cup in 2014. Considered the most successful ski jumper of all time.

Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
In his debut at PyeongChang 2018, he won three medals in three events (team gold, large hill and small hill bronzes).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Three-time World medallist (two silver, one bronze). In nine events at four World Championships (2017-21), he has never finished lower than 16th (2017/2019 normal hill). All other results are in the top top-eight.

Won two team gold medals in Ski-Flying World Championships (2018, 2020).

WORLD CUP
In eight seasons he reached the podium 15 times (individual), three times he won an individual event, his first World Cup win was in March 2018 in Vikersund (flying hill). Additionally, he has 11 World Cup wins with the team. In the overall ranking, his best results are in 2017/18 and 2020/21, finishing fifth.

SEASON 2021/22
Participated in three events of the Summer Grand Prix and finished second in Schuchinsk, 12th in the overall ranking. In the winter season he finished top-10 seven times with one third place in Oberstdorf. He is currently ranked 12th in the overall World Cup.

WORLD RECORD
Briefly held the ski flying world record on 18 Mar 2017 in Vikersund when he landed at 252 meters, until later on the same day Stefan Kraft (AUT) landed at 253.5 meters, which still stands today. (7 Oct 2021).
