Started Alpine skiing and participating in kid's races, when his coach (former ski jumper), offered him an opportunity to try ski jumping. Later he was accepted in the ski boarding school (Stams), and that's when he knew he wanted to be a ski jumper. (huberdaniel.com)

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Team gold medal in his debut in Beijing 2022, together with Manuel Fettner, Stefan Kraft, and Jan Hoerl.
Finished 13th in normal hill event and 20th in large hill.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Two-time team silver medallist (2019, 2021), and best individual result of eighth (large hill) in 2021.

WORLD CUP
In five World Cup seasons, he has four individual podium finishes, including his maiden win in Bischofshofen (large hill) in January 2022. First individual podium finish was in 2018 in Engelberg (large hill).
In 2021/22 he finished top-10 six times, currently is ranked ninth in the overall World Cup.

OTHER
At the 2016 FIS Cup in Eau Claire, he finished on the podium twice, with his brother, winning the first competition (his brother was second), on the next day his brother won (and he was third).

He celebrated his maiden World Cup victory four days after his 29th birthday, on 6 January 2022.
