Awarded the honorary title of "Training Model" by the People's Republic of China General Administration of Sports (2019).

Milestones

Won bronze at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Earned the first Olympic medal for People's Republic of China in any of the three sliding sports (bobsleigh, luge, skeleton). Finished overall third in heat 1-2 (third in Run 1, fourth in Run 2).

Placed sixth at the 2020 World Championships in the mixed team event and 11th in men's individual (Altenberg).

Has two top-10 finishes at Junior World Championships (9th in 2018, 10th in 2019).

Competed in 18 career World Cup races, with a highest finish of seventh in the 2019/20 season (St. Moritz).

First Chinese athlete to win a race in the Europe Cup. Won gold on 7 December 2019 in Koenigssee, finishing ahead of Fabian Kuechler (GER) and Cedric Renner (GER) in second and third place. (ibsf.org, 7 Dec 2019)

Won North American Cup in November 2019 (Lake Placid), more than one year after his first podium finish in second place.
