Started skeleton as a teenager at age 13 in 2015 in Calgary, Alberta. After reaching out to the Alberta Skeleton Association in the spring of 2015, he participated in his first recruitment camp and officially joined the sport that summer. In October 2015, after training on the push-start, he signed up for a driving school with Alberta Skeleton Association. (bobsleighcanadaskeleton.ca)
