Start:

Started skeleton as a teenager at age 13 in 2015 in Calgary, Alberta. After reaching out to the Alberta Skeleton Association in the spring of 2015, he participated in his first recruitment camp and officially joined the sport that summer. In October 2015, after training on the push-start, he signed up for a driving school with Alberta Skeleton Association. (bobsleighcanadaskeleton.ca)

BEIJING 2022 OLYMPIC TRACK
Started the 2021/22 season on the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games track in the Yanqing Sliding Centre where he competed in the Olympic test event. (olympic.ca)

COVID-19
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, he was racing only at the North American Cup in the 2020/21 season, where he won one bronze medal in Park City. (olympic.ca, 19 Jan 2021; ibsf.org)

Milestones

Represented Canada at his first Junior World Championships in 2019 in Koenigssee. Competed for Canada again in 2020 where he finished 17th in Winterberg.

World Cup debuted in December 2020 in Sigulda, finishing 20th, his best result for more than a year until he improved his finishing position with 19th place, beating out his teammate Evan Neufeldt in 27th.

Two-time overall medallist at the North American Cup. Second overall in 2020/21, and third in the 2018/19 season. His best finish was second in Lake Placid (2018), finishing less than one second behind the winner Andrew Blaser (USA) who secured the overall North American Cup that season. (olympic.ca; ibsf.org)
