Sister Ayaka Kikuchi (Speed skating): Two-time Olympian (2014-18), winning team pursuit gold at PyeongChang 2018. Team pursuit World Championship gold (2015). Former world record holder in the team pursuit. Coach for the Japanese Skating Federation.
Sister Sumire Kikuchi (Short track, Speed skating): At PyeongChang 2018 was 11th in 1500m (sixth in relay with Yuki). Triple bronze at Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games, with two in speed skating (1500m, mass start), one short track (1000m). World Short Track Championship relay bronze (2017) with Moemi.
Sister Moemi Kikuchi (Short track): Sochi 2014 Olympian, but did not start in the relay. 2017 World Championship relay bronze (with Sumire).
Brother-in-law Keiichiro Nagashima (Speed skating): Three-time Olympian (2006-14), winning 500m silver at Vancouver 2010. Two World Sprint Championship medals (2009 silver, 2010 bronze). Head coach of JPN short track team. Married to Ayaka.
2014 World Cup in Salt Lake City (100m - 16th, 1500m - 19th, Relay - 6th)
July 2013: Injured her right knee.
December 2012: Fractured her right leg after slipping during the All Japan Championships and required surgery the following month.
