Brother Karlis Kruzbergs (Short track speed skating): Mixed relay bronze medallist at the Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games. Back-to-back European Championship appearances (2018-19), finishing seventh in the relay on both occasions, with Roberts on the team in 2019. Competed at the World Cup from 2017-20, with three top-15 relay results, all alongside Roberts. Now works as Roberts' coach.
