November 2015: Fractured her left tibia and fibula bones at the World Cup event in Toronto, ON, CAN. Underwent two surgeries and took two years to return to World Cup competition in 2017. However, in 2021 she admitted the injured leg is not the same as the healthy one. "(They) don't work the same way. The leg that was operated on is definitely weaker. You can see with the naked eye that this muscle is different. But it's something I can't change in any way, and thinking like 'why does it have to be this way?' will do nothing." (sport.tvp.pl, 18 Oct 2021)
2015: Illness, fever and weakness during the off-season affected her preparation for the 2015/16 season.

"I noticed an advertisement for roller skating classes at my school. I already had roller skates from my grandma after asking her for a long time. I really liked to race. In the winter, the roller skating classes turned into ice skating classes." (isu.org)
To do well in the 3000m relay. "Building the relay has been our goal for several years. The fact that we are going to perform with the whole squad at the Olympic Games is thanks to the contribution of the whole group, including the guys who helped us to set up for this relay in training. The fact that our group is at the Olympics is just the beginning. It takes years to reach a high level and we are a very young group that has made huge progress. We will have even more chances in another four years." (sport.tvp.pl, 24 Jan 2022)

Her sister, Natalia. "Natalia's attitude is a great motivation for me. We are together, and this bond between us allows us to survive more difficult times." (sport.onet.pl, 21 Sep 2017)
