"Totally by chance. I lived in a very small village in Doubs, I had never done sport in a club, and our neighbour, who had practised short-track, discovered there was a club in Belfort. She took her children there and offered to take me and my twin sister. We immediately got hooked and signed up. I was nine years old. It was an hour's drive from the house, and three times a week our parents would go back and forth." (ffsg.org, 31 Aug 2021)
"It's hard for me to describe how I feel on the ice. I'm having fun even in practice. In competition, whether I cross the line in first or third place, if I have given everything I have then I have no regrets. In terms of feelings, it may sound a bit cliche but sometimes you feel invincible, you feel like you're flying on the ice and that's exactly what I like and what I'm looking for." (passionpvss.blogspot.com, 28 Feb 2020)
