Nordic combined skier Eric Frenzel (GER), born 1988, has won six Olympic medals, three gold, one silver and two bronze in three different Olympic Winter Games, Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018, 16 medals in World Championships, four of them in gold and stands at 43 individual World Cup wins. Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Finished seventh in the normal hill/5km at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games Lillehammer (ranked eighth in the ski jumping, fourth in cross-country).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
At three World Championships (2017, 2019, 2021), he narrowly missed a top-10, finishing 11th with the team as his best result in 2021 in Oberstdorf.

Competed at five Junior World Championships (2015-19), his best results are two 14th places in 2018 (normal hill/5km, normal hill/10km). With the team he finished 12th in 2019.

WORLD CUP:
His 16th place in the team sprint in his debut in 2018 is his best result so far.

SEASON 2021/22:
Came close to scoring World Cup points a few times and eventually scored his first point of the season in Val di Fiemme when he finished 30th. He participated in World Cups as well as Continental Cups to secure his spot for the Olympic Winter Games.
