CONTINENTAL CUP VICTORY, STEAMBOAT SPRINGS (DECEMBER 2018)
His father passed away three months before the competition. "Today was a great day. It was so much fun competing at home for the first time in so long. It brings me back to my childhood memories at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. I had a decent jump and a much better race to bring home the victory. Today was for my parents. My father was with me today all the time. He would have been so proud and that was motivating." (fis-ski.com)

SCHOOLING / WORK
Struggled with online schooling because of being in Europe most of the winter. Plans to go back to college as a full-time student after his sports career. Milestones

Three-time Olympian (Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018) with a best result of sixth in the team event at Sochi 2014, when his brother Bryan was also on the team.

Competed in six editions of World Championships (2011-21), winning a team bronze medal in 2013.

Two individual World Cup podiums, both thirds, in 2013 in Seefeld (normal hill/10km) and 2015 in Sapporo (large hill/10km), and one with the team.

In the World Cup season 2021/22, he scored World Cup points in five events, finishing 20th in Otepaeae his best result. He is currently ranked 41st in the overall World Cup.

Won the US trials in December 2021, directly qualifying him for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
