Milestones

Bronze medallist in the team event (large hill/4x5km) in his debut Olympic Winter Games with team members Yoshito Watabe, Akito Watabe, and Hideaki Nagai. They started from the fourth position after the ski jumping part and finished 0.3 seconds behind silver medallist Germany.
He finished 12th in the large hill/10km and 14th in the normal hill/10km (in which he had won the ski jumping part) in the individual events.

In his World Championships debut in 2021 in Oberstdorf, he finished fourth in both team events (the youngest member of team).

In his four Junior World Championship appearances (2014-17), sixth with the team in 2015 was his best result.

First individual World Cup podium finish was in Lahti in 2021 with third in the large hill/10km, with two more third places with the team.
