Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Participated in the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and finished eighth with the team, 30th in the individual normal hill/10km event. Did not participate in PyeongChang 2018 due to left knee surgery in November 2017.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Six participations (2011-21), a fourth with the team in 2015 being his best result. Individual best result is 12th Seefeld in 2019 (normal hill/10km).

During the 2021 World Championships, four members of the Italian team tested positive for Covid-19, as a result, the whole team was withdrawn for the remaining events.

Competed at four World Junior Championships (2009-12) winning the team silver medal in Erzerum in 2012.

WORLD CUP
Four podium finishes, all third places, two individual (both in 2017 in Seefeld, normal hill/10km and normal hill/5km) and two with the team (2013, 2017).
The third Italian after Andrea Longo and Alessandro Pittin to have an individual World Cup podium finish. (pyeongchang2018.coni.it)

After his injury in 2017, his best World Cup ranking was ninth twice in 2019.

SEASON 2021/22:
In the Summer Grand Prix 2021 overall ranking, he finished 15th, participating in only four out of the five events. In winter, he scored points in only two events and is currently ranked overall 44th.
