Start:

Started to ski at three years old and focused on alpine skiing until the age of 10. Then his friend Zeno di Lenardo, former ski jumper and now trainer, asked him to try ski jumping and he liked it. He actually wanted to do only ski jumping, as just like most alpine skiers he did not like endurance sports. In Italy, until the age of 14, everybody has to do both, ski jumping and Nordic combined. He was good at it and continued. "With the time I started to like it, and now it is my life. I’m thankful for the way I chose, doesn’t matter if I’m gonna be a champion or not." (Athlete, Sep 2021)

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES:
Participated in PyeongChang 2018 and finished eighth with the team, 40th in normal hill/10km and 34th in large hill/10km.

The Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 2012 where he finished fifth was his first major international event, before that, he had only participated in Alpen Cups, not even a Continental Cup.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Three appearances (2017, 2019, 2021) with two seventh places with the team as best results. During the 2021 World Championships, four members of the Italian team tested positive for Covid-19, as a result, the whole team was withdrawn for the remaining events.

Participated in three World Junior Championships (2013-15) with 14th in 2014 as his best individual result.

WORLD CUP:
His best results are in the team events. In individual events, his personal best is 23rd in 2022 in Val di Fiemme.

SEASON 2021/22:
Scored points in nine events, including improving his personal best individual result to 23rd in Val die Fiemme. He is currently ranked 36th in the overall World Cup.
