Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Missed the normal hill/10km event in Beijing 2022, achieved his career best Olympic result in the large hill/10km event. He was in second position (behind Jarl Magnus Riiber) after the ski jumping and finished ninth in the final ranking.

Competed in Sochi 2014, as well as PyeongChang 2018, with a 16th place in PyeongChang (normal hill/10km) as his best result.
Participated in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2012 and finished seventh (normal hill/10km).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Has participated in five editions of the World Championships (2013 - 2021). His best results were in 2021 when he finished 11th individually (large hill/10km) and eighth in the team sprint (large hill/7.5km) together with his younger brother, Andreas.
He won three individual bronze medals at the Junior World Championships in 2013, 2015 and 2016, all in normal hill/5km events.

WORLD CUP
Nine top-five results and three podium finishes - all second place - with his first career victory in Hakuba in 2018 (large hill/10km). His best overall ranking in his eight seasons in the World Cup so far is 17th in 2020/21.

2021/22
This Olympic winter season is his best to date. He has eight top-10 finishes, two second places (both in Klingenbach in the large hill/10km events) and two fourth places (Ruka and Val di Fiemme.). He is currently ranked sixth in the overall World Cup, his best-ever career ranking.
