Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
At the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, along with partner Cho Jung Myung, they became the first doubles team to compete for Korea at an Olympic Winter Games with the highest result for the Asian nation in any luge discipline up to that point (18th). A day later, they were 12th in the relay with Seong Eun-Ryeong and Kim Dong-Hyeon.

Two top-10 finishes of ninth at PyeongChang 2018 (doubles, team relay).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The team's bronze at the 2015 U23 World Championships in Sigulda was Korea's first medal at a World Championship event.

WORLD CUP
In the 2019/20 season, finishing fourth in doubles at the World Cup in Winterberg was the highest World Cup finish for any Korean luge athlete. The tandem were 0.057 seconds off the podium behind Poland's Wojciech Chmielewski/Jakub Kowalewski, in a race boycotted by many nations due to unsafe track conditions.
