Brother Andris Sics (Luge): Three-time Olympic medallist from four participations, winning doubles silver at Vancouver 2010 followed by bronze at Sochi 2014. Nine-time World Championship medallist, with three silver and six bronze, including three medals from 2021. Three-time European champion, winning the doubles in 2021, with 12 additional minor medals.
