Highlights

Played in two seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Quebec Nordiques (1984-86) appearing in 13 games total and registering one assist and 25 penalty minutes. Spent his entire playing career as a defenceman and primarily played in the American Hockey League (AHL) for teams based in the Maritime provinces of Canada (Fredericton, NB and Halifax, NS).

Won gold at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey as head coach of Team Canada. Assistant coach for the Canadian men's team at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games (gold). Won the Stanley Cup as head coach of the Boston Bruins in 2014.
