Part of a group of female players striving to create a professional league in North America. "I didn't think it would be this hard after winning a gold (PyeongChang 2018). I think a lot of us sort of hang our hats and think, 'OK, once we win a gold medal - because we haven't done it in 20 years, you know - the sport is going to change in the US specifically' and then, you know, we had a league fold (CWHL) and now we're in this position. I'm hoping we get ourselves to a position where we do have a sustainable league to play in. I mean, that would sort of be the dream come true. I want to see the sport just catapult to a new level.
